Sage House is your home base while you explore the expansive red rocks and exhilarating surroundings of Capitol Reef country. The home is conveniently located in between Torrey Town and Capitol Reef National Park along the historic Highway 12, situated atop a desert bluff with stunning, 360-degree views out of every window.

Yes! The retreat is designed to accommodate all levels, including beginners. Each session is guided with modifications to meet your level of comfort and experience. Please note that essential oils and incense will be used during some activities to enhance relaxation and mindfulness.

What should I bring to the retreat?
  • A yoga mat and any props you may need (e.g., blocks, straps, or bolsters).
  • A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • Comfortable, layered clothing suitable for yoga and outdoor activities.
  • Walking shoes or hiking boots for nature walks.
  • A journal and pen for workshops and personal reflections.
  • Any personal items to make you feel comfortable, such as toiletries, a blanket, pillow, or eye mask for meditation
  • Sunscreen, bug spray, and any weather-appropriate gear (e.g., hat, gloves, rain jacket).
How do I get to the retreat?
  • The retreat is located at The Sage House in Torrey, Utah, near Capitol Reef National Park.
  • Driving: Guests are encouraged to drive their own car.
  • Carpooling: We recommend carpooling with other participants to make the journey more eco-friendly and due to parking limitations.
  • Exact directions will be provided closer to the retreat date.

Are meals included?

Yes, all meals are included during the retreat. We provide nourishing, balanced meals to support your experience. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

Are beverages included?

Yes, we offer complimentary tea and coffee throughout the retreat. Please feel free to bring any additional beverages you enjoy (non-alcoholic only).

What is the drug and alcohol policy?

To create a safe and supportive environment for self-healing, the retreat is drug- and alcohol-free. We ask that all participants refrain from using recreational drugs or alcohol during the retreat. Please note that optional hapé will be offered in some meditation sessions for those who wish to engage with this sacred practice.

What is the retreat’s schedule like?

The retreat includes a mix of yoga, meditation, workshops, and free time for reflection. Each day is carefully curated to ensure a balance of activity and rest. You will also have time to explore nature and enjoy moments of personal quietude.

Where will I stay during the retreat?

Accommodation details will be provided after registration. Rooms are cozy, shared spaces unless private arrangements are requested (additional fees may apply).

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 30 days before the retreat start date, minus a non-refundable deposit. Within 30 days of the retreat, no refunds will be issued, but your spot may be transferred to another person.

Can I attend only part of the retreat?

To get the most from the experience, we encourage participants to join the full retreat. However, if you need to leave early, please inform us in advance.

Is there anything else I should know?
  • Please arrive at the retreat site by 4:30 PM on Day 1 for check-in.
  • We encourage you to disconnect from technology during the retreat to fully immerse yourself in the experience.
  • Be open to new experiences and enjoy the journey!
